It was only after leaving my headship that I was able to take up writing again in earnest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"outline-color: transparent; outline-style: none; outline-width: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; cursor: text; word-spacing: 0px;\"><span style=\"margin: 0px; color: #333333; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;\">Life is still busy. I spend my mornings teaching Tai Chi and yoga or at line dancing,\u00a0Pilates and Zumba classes. My other hobbies include reading, and I\u2019m addicted to travel. I am lucky enough to be a cruise lecturer. My favourite authors include Zo\u00eb Sharp, Robert Goddard, Felix Francis, Nicci French, P D James and Lesley Horton, all of whom I&#8217;ve had the great privilege of meeting. I am also addicted to the zany comedy of Jasper Fford (his &#8216;The Well of Lost Plots&#8217; is a must for all aspiring crime novelists) and the great Terry Pratchett both of whom I&#8217;ve met and chatted to.
